Our founder, Kristen Tucker, transitioned from a career in Big Tech to become a wellness entrepreneur. Following a successful tenure in program management and facing challenges with post-partum anxiety and depression, Kristen made the decision to embark on a new path. With a longstanding passion for fitness, Kristen found inspiration to follow her true calling and establish a more balanced way of life. In 2024, Kristen established Melanin Fit LLC with a mission to empower women from all walks of life to invest in their well-being and self-care while also fostering a sense of community and belonging.
